See? Better to ID by voice : )

I see/hear HAFLs every year while hiking in montane zones of the Cascades,
both E and W of crest, although I am hard pressed to suggest a "reliable"
location. If you are a hiker, you might try waiting until FS 4330 road
opens to the Cathedral Rock and Hyas Lake THs. I have ID'd more HAFLs up
the CR trail and Hyas Lake trail than any other place that comes to mind. I
have ID'd HAFLs close to the road on the North Fork Teanaway River road,
although Dusky's seem to be more common there. I see you are in Bothell, so
maybe Tonga Ridge, Tunnel Creek trail or Surprise Creek?

Good luck!
