[Tweeters] Solitary Sandpiper in Fife?

On Monday night I was walking my dog through a new park in Fife called
Brookville Gardens. There’s a small water collection area at the back of
the park along the railroad tracks, and there was a Lesser Yellowlegs
hanging out along the edge of the little pond.

But, also out in the pond was a much smaller bird, with a white stomach and
fairly clear breast, heavily spotted on its back and with a very prominent
white eye ring. It has greenish yellow legs, not bright yellow like the
Yellowlegs.

I saw it again tonight, and it was bobbing it’s tail as it walked along the
waters edge.

Could this be a Solitary Sandpiper? I’m not sure how common they are around
here during migration.

It seems to be comfortable there, at least for the last few days, so
hopefully somebody else can see it and confirm it, or correctly identify it.
