Hello All – In April the Burke Museum Ornithology Department will begin moving into a new building. The case work will be moved mostly by professional movers but we are looking for volunteers to help us move the specimens. The process will be relatively straightforward and not physically stressful (birds specimens are pretty light!). Specimens will remain in their drawers and put on something like a bread rack and rolled across the parking lot (40 m) to the new building.

Anybody interested? Probably best to reply directly to me <rfaucett at uw.ed> as opposed to Tweeters.

Best and thanks,
Rob
