[Tweeters] another (?) Seattle G. B. Heron colony

That heron colony has been around for a long time. It was noted as recently
abandoned in Marty Murphy's 1998 note to Western Birds entitled "Status of
Great Blue Heron Colonies in King County, Washington" (listed there as the
Pigeon Point rookery), but some birds have since returned and nest there
annually. It's located almost directly above a public stairwell between SW
Marginal Pl and SW Charleston St and only about 150 feet from nearby
residences on the top of the bluff so it's not ideal habitat, but the birds
seem to make it work.
