Of course we don’t know if it is the same bird, but in late June and early July there was an all-white Barn Swallow flying with other Barn Swallows around the lower Dungeness Valley, first seen 6/22 by Bonnie Bless-Boenish on the west side of the Dungeness River, then reported at least twice more by others on the east side of the river. I believe the last time someone reported it over here was during the first week in July.
It was a leucistic individual, all white but with dark eyes, so not a true albino. Did your bird have dark eyes, or pink eyes? Wonder if the Dungeness bird took a little jaunt over to Everett?

A friend and I observed what has to be an albino swallow at Smith Island (Everett settling ponds) last week. It was flying with barn swallows, I think. Has anyone else observed the bird? It was an elegant sight.
