I spent a few more hours yesterday (Thursday) scanning the sky looking for
returning whatevers over my Battle Ground, Clark County yard. It was a
good day with a total species count of 49. Highlights included:

SWAINSON'S HAWK: 1 (a new yard bird!)
Cassin's Vireo: 1 (FOY-yard)
HUTTON'S VIREO: 1 (a new yard bird)
Common Raven: 3 (kettling against a storm cloud)

Today's FOY-yard species were:

Western Tanager
Warbling Vireo
Band-tailed Pigeon

Its been a great year for yard birding so far.

Keep your eyes and ears skyward.
