Weekend trip to coast. Saturday saw 2000+ Dunlin on beach near Copalis.
Greys Harbor NWR had several Orange-crowned Warblers, Yellow-rumped
Warblers, Rufous Hummingbirds, Barn Swallows, Violet Green Swallows, Tree
Swallows, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Bewick's Wrens, Caspian Terns and one
Swainson's Hawk-Saturday. Resident Osprey also on it's nest on the left
side of road as you drive in and several Ring-necked Ducks in ponds. Ocean
City State Beach had same warblers, plus Hermit Thrush and several
Townsend's Warblers. Migration is on!
