Hello Tweeters,

Yesterday morning as I walked to Lowman Beach in West Seattle, I had the surprising pleasure of encountering at close range, within 30-40 minutes, before I ever got near the beach:

Orange-crowned Warbler with spider prey<https://www.flickr.com/photos/trileigh/20611752763> and eating said prey<https://www.flickr.com/photos/trileigh/21046036729> (click links for photos)

Black-throated Gray Warbler<https://www.flickr.com/photos/trileigh/21046078849>

I’d had a tough morning, but those sightings brightened it right up! (Photos at flickr.com/photos/trileigh if the links don’t work.)

Good birding to you,
