Had Townsends Warbler and Black Headed Grosbeak today.

Last Friday had a great visit to For Heavens Sake Wildlife Rescue and Rehab in Olympia. They have several owls nicely displayed (LEO (the Long-Eared), a couple of Great Horned, a Screech Owl, one very sad Barn Owl (named No-No for his back and forth head movements), and a wonderful little Northern Pygmy, Pippin.

They also have a coyote, various squirrels including Douglas, a few Cottontail bunnies, a turtle just to name a few.

If you're in the area - it's at Exit 95 south of Olympia. It's a small drive to the facility but it was great to see that it was such a well managed place. If you need more info, let me know or you can google it.

Glad the wind is gone and for the rains.

Caryn / Wedgwood
