Hey tweets, things are moving through the Fill and everywhere else too. My son reported a small flock of Evening Grosbeaks foraging in the big parking lot on campus, near 25th, yesterday. There have been Warbling Vireos at the Fill, a Lazuli Bunting, a Solitary Sandpiper, more Leasts than I expected (given the closed-in nature of the ponds now, sigh), many Wilson's Warblers, and the first Yellow Warbler of the year, singing as compellingly as he could near Kern's Restoration.

I am stuck at home today, but I want to remind everyone that today is Give Big Day, if you haven't already received multiple notices from your charities. Please consider giving even a small gift to your favorite charity, as your gift will be multipled by the Seattle Foundation.

Here is a poem on that subject for you today:

Do you want to change the world?
"Don't try. It's too big."
But the butterfly who stirred a wing just created a hurricane.
I saw it begin.
