Mitch Blanton and I sighted a single breeding plumaged Red Knot today, on the outgoing tide, at about 9:30 a.m., on Drayton Harbor Road, just past the little bridge, shortly after the turn-off (at the gas station) to Semiahmoo from Blaine Road. It was with a huge flock of Dunlin and a smaller flock of Whimbrels, foraging along the far side of the sand bar, easily visible with a scope - the red on the bird quite visible with binoculars. All of the birds picked up and flew to the next westerly sand bar, but the knot could still be seen clearly. Perhaps it will stay awhile and will return to that spot on the incoming tide.

At Sandy Point, around 2:30 or 3:00 p.m., on a very low tide that exposed the sand bars on the Lummi Bay side of the spit, there was a single Snow Goose hanging out with the gulls and Caspian Terns.
