Hi Caitlin,

I visited Mt. Adams on June 6 and had only one Three-toed Woodpecker - one
drumming around the South Climb parking lot. Burned trees within 30 feet
of both sides of the road have been felled which is unfortunate because at
least three of these trees held nesting Black-backed or Three-toed
Woodpeckers last year. Admittedly, June 6 was too early to determine how
many woodpeckers are nesting up there this year. I haven't had a chance to
visit again after June 6.
