Hi Tweeters,

Passerines are starting to move around a bit in/near my small Battle
Ground, Clark County backyard:

Dark-eyed Junco: 1 (they breed in Battle Ground but at least a mile from my
yard - this was my first one since April)
Common Yellowthroat: 1 (they breed at a reed lined pond about 1/4 mile down
the road and then start to wander)
Black-throated Gray Warbler: 1 (maybe the same singing bird that I've heard
but never seen in the neighborhood. It was playing with the chickadees
over the deck this morning)
NORTHERN BOBWHITE: 1 male (obviously an escape/released bird. I saw it
several days ago down the street but it was calling loudly >of course< near
my yard this morning).
Swainson's Thrushes are coming close to the yard so are venturing away from
their breeding territories.

Looking forward to Fall migration!

Keep your eyes and ears skyward.

Jim
