Tweets, After a two-week absence (vacationing/birding in central FL and So Cal) migration is in full swing back home. Here's a summary from Tenino area for this week, including possible FOSs -- things seem to be early.

Monday 4/20 (gorgeous day, birds very active)
- Vaux's Swift (several over house, most of the day)
- White-cr Sparrow (unusual in yard in spring; singing but gone next day)
- Blk-c Chickadee building nest in yard
Tuesday, 4/21 (a 70-spp day)
- Gr Yellowlegs (possibly same individual since 3/9)
- Pac-sl Flyctr (3 within a short distance)
- Hermit Thrush (1)
- Cassin's Vireo (1)
- Blk-th Gray Warbler (few)
- McG's Warbler (1)
- Wilson's Warbler (lots)
- Am Goldfinch (few)

Wednesday, 4/22 (much quieter!)
- Townsend's Warbler (1)
Thursday, 4/23
- Overwintering male Eurasian Wigeon continues with 7 American

I birded 10 sites each in central FL (105+ spp) and San Diego & Palm Springs area (115+ spp) two weeks prior. Glad to share my research & findings.

Good birding!
