This morning while birding at Discovery Park I observed a pair of
COOPER'S HAWKS in flight near the Visitor's Center. The birds were
casually diving at one another and flying around in a very close
proximity to each other. A nice show. I did not find the Say's
Phoebe today, but a few other birds seen included:

BRANT - along both the North and Southeast shorelines
PELAGIC CORMORANT - a pair close to shore near the lighthouse
BRANT'S CORMORANT - a single individual
RHINOCEROS AUKLET - several seen from the point at the lighthouse
BONAPARTE'S GULL - also just one bird seen
MOURNING DOVE - a single bird near the buildings by the Utah Pond
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER - a few near the Visitor's Center
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER - both Myrtle & Audubon's (males) in the willows
at the Utah Pond

Cheers and Good Birding;
