Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird report. This report

On August 31 a female INDIGO BUNTING was seen at Plat I Reservoir east of

Among the heavy migration during the week were an increasing number of
ELEGENT TERNS along the coast, and the continuing movement of WHITE-FRONTED

On August 31 a RUFF was at Bandon Marsh. Two RUFFS were on the North Spit of
Coos Bay September 2. A SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER was at Coos Bay that day. On
August 28 a COMMON TERN was at the mouth of the Siuslaw River. A TATTLER was
seen August 31 at Hug Point south of Cannon Beach.

A SNOWY EGRET was seen September 1 among 316 GREAT EGRETS at Smith/Bybee
Lakes in North Portland. On August 30 a flock of 15 COMMON TERNS were along
Eicher Road east of Albany. A BREWER¹S SPARROW was seen August 28 along
Belts Road east of Harrisburg. Among the many migrants at Fern Ridge
Reservoir August 29 were a SANDERLING and eight SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS. A
CLAY-COLORED SPARROW continues to be seen at Fern Ridge.

On August 28 eight COMMON TERNS and two SANDERLINGS were at Wickiup
Reservoir south of Bend. A LONG-TAILED JAEGER was at Klamath Falls August
