Working out in the garden today and now we have at least a couple of Rufous hummers. It's great to hear a different vocalization. They sound almost like a Varied Thrush in a tiny way, but not the clicking and sucking sounds like the Anna's. They have been all over chasing each other, hovering in the spray of the hose and loving my orange toned leaves/flowers. I almost thought they were an Anna's/Rufous cross since the back is green and the underwings rufous-colored.

I've had young Anna's, the female still on the nest, and now so many hummers I can barely keep track! The most we have ever observed in our garden (since 1981!).

Have also been seeing Downy and Hairy (I think) woodpeckers and hearing some flycatchers I think and hope. No visuals yet.
