[Tweeters] American Avocet, Ridgefield NWR, Clark Co WA

Two of us saw the avocet for less than 10 minutes. The last couple were
with a Bald Eagle pursuing it in the air. A strange mismatch of size.
Knowing avocets in nest situations I would have expected it to be chasing
the eagle! Four Red-necked Phalaropes were beyond stop 12 on Rest Lake,
still there from yesterday.
