Recently there have been hardly any Bonaparte's Gulls or Common Terns around the point. Yesterday there were none and no jaegers either, but three Red-necked Phalarope were visible in the distance and a couple of American Pipits were on the beach. To-day, quite neatly, two Parasitic Jaegers, with complete tail projections could be seen out over the rough water, along with two Barn Swallows and two Eurasian Collared Doves. Presumably the latter were returning from their summer vacation on the Olympic Peninsula. Jordon Gunn also saw an immature Franklin's Gull.
