Hi Tweets,

24 for us enjoyed a wet day at the Refuge, but improved weather from last
week. The birds were very active and highlights included Black Swift,
Blue-winged Teal, winnowing Wilson's Snipe, four Wilson's Phalarope,
Yellow-headed Blackbird and two Bank Swallows. We were not able to
relocate the Black Tern reported last week by Evan Houston and Michael
Schramm. Here is our eBird report, 74 species for the day, with 160
species for the year. Mammals seen included Cotton Tail Rabbit, Eastern
Gray Squirrel, River Otter and Harbor Seal. Until next time.
Good birding,

Shep Thorp
