Dear Tweeters,

Today (3-23-13) there were 13 Mountain Bluebirds at Corkindale, west of Marblemount. The easiest way for me to view them was just to use a window-mount for my scope, viewing from the highway; they were in the field just north of SR 20, west of the creek.

At the Marblemount boat launch was one Say's Phoebe.

At the fields opposite SR 20 milepost 100 eagle-viewing area was a flock of Canada Geese that included one Greater White-fronted Goose, a bird that has been there off and on for weeks. This is not the first winter one has spent time there, for some odd reason. Also here was a single Violet-green Swallow.

On a power-line road south of the Rockport-Cascade Road, a small flock of passerines included a Hutton's Vireo.

Yours truly,

Gary Bletsch
