hi everyone,

i thought you might enjoy this short piece about the unique, migratory
spoon-billed sandpipers, which includes a STUNNING video of their life
cycle:

this video is the first ever recorded intimate look into the life of
these critically endangered birds. it is estimated that there are
fewer than 100 pairs alive today.

incidentally, the footage of those wobbly newly-hatched chickies is
enough to melt the heart of almost anyone, i'd predict.
