I had a delightful day in Lincoln County. Here are some the nice birds that
I enjoyed:

Tundra Swan (1) - Hawk Creek Campground in a small part of the mouth of the
creek that has not frozen, a strange place for 1 swan

Am Wigeon, Gadwall, Hooded Mergansers,,,, none of these are particularly
rare, but can be hard to find when most everything freezes which it has in
Lincoln. These ducks were all gathered in small "pond" of water along Hawk
Creek. There were 2 Virginia Rails calling from the marshy edge of the pond
along with a Pacific Wren.

Canvasback (12), Greater Scaup (8) Ruddy Duck - Mill Canyon

Barrow's Goldeneye (4) - 7 Bays Marina

Rough legged Hawk - everywhere, especially along Old Kuck's and Mayberry

SNOWY OWL - first saw this bird at 3:30pm just west of the corner of Buck
Flats and Zellmer Rd. A few minutes later, I relocated the bird just west
of the intersection of Oehlwein and Omans Rd, one of the typical Snowy Owl
hangouts SE of Davenport. Appears to be a young bird. Hawk Owl last week,
Snowy today. My idea of fun birding!

Northern Shrike - Rocklyn Rd

Clark's Nutcracker - 3 near the top of Hawk Creek Canyon

BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS - 4 along Harker Canyon Rd in juniper trees about .5 east
of Hwy 25

SNOW BUNTINGS - 8 along Harker Canyon Rd about 1 mi east of Hwy 25

Red Crossbills - 55 Mill Canyon
