[Tweeters] Spring Arrivals

One week ago, the first White-crowned and Golden-crowned sparrows of this
Spring appeared at my feeders here in central Lewis County. A little
disappointing that they did not arrive in time to get counted for
Project Feederwatch. A few Pine Siskins and Purple Finch females
appeared yesterday for the first time this spring. (The male PF has
been here most of the week.)

There are significantly fewer Juncos than in previous years, but more
Evening Grosbeaks than usual. And still a few Varied Thrush, which do
usually stay around until mid-May at least.
