WHITE-FRONTED GEESE over western Oregon. On April 21 about 4000 BONAPARTE¹S
GULLS were gathered off Port Orford.

An offshore boat trip out of Coos Bay April 20 found six PINK-FOOTED
SHEARWATERS with a few SOOTY SHEARWATERS, eight RED PHALAROPES, 40 SABINE¹S
GULLS, and six ARCTIC TERNS. On April 23 a SWAINSON¹S HAWK was at Yaquina
Head north of Newport. Another was in Beaverton the next day.

On April 21 eight WHITE PELICANS were at Scappoose Bottoms. A flock of 14
WHITE PELICANS were on Sauvie Island April 23. A MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE was seen
April 17 at Mt. Tabor Park in Portland. A GOLDEN EAGLE was at Jackson Bottom
in Hillsboro April 21. A PECTORAL SANDPIPER was near the McMinnville Airport
April 22. Two ROSS¹S GEESE and a late ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK were at Ankeny NWR
April 21. Another Rough-legged was near Jefferson April 24. A LARK SPARROW
