Hello, Tweeters.

After the rain stopped, I headed over to Edmonds around 2:00 pm and found a number of warblers in the trees along the road near the entrance to the Willow Creek Hatchery. Included were 4-5 Orange-crowned, 2 Townsend's, a male and a female, a male Black-throated Gray, and a male Audubon Yellow-rumped. Later, near the easternmost outlook on the Edmonds Marsh, I spotted an interesting warbler in a nearby tree. My first impression was black and white in color, with distinct streaking on the back and strongly on the flanks. When I got a look at the head, though, there was no strong pattern, but rather fine, not very distinct, streaking. Lastly the primaries and secondaries of the wings looked in one view to have a dull olive-green cast. I didn't note any other possible field marks. Well, I don't know what it was - any ideas, anyone? How possible is Blackpoll in spring?
