And as there are now Wrentits at the mouth of the Sandy River, I am watching for them to cross the Columbia River there, here they would cross to Lady Island at Camas, perhaps by first crossing to Ione Reef, which is between the island and the Oregon shore. When I had access to this privately owned island I was amazed by the amount of good habitat there is there. It was from the island where I spotted Clark County's first Pelagic Cormorant on Ione Reef. Michael - Dennis - Tweeters,�I�believe there are records�for Wrentit in the Brownsmead area near Knappa,Oregon. My theory is that with the river narrower here and having brushy islands to hop through that the 1st�Washington record will occur in the Skamokawa/Julia Butler Hansen/Puget Island area.
