Lake Hills Greenbelt (LHG), Bellevue --

05Apr (1050-1314hrs) - Swallows were the big players today as 400-500 were
all over Phantom Lake, ~98% Violet-green and no more than 2% Tree, plus
ONE (only one!) FOY Barn Swallow. By contrast, the ONLY swallows at Larsen
Lake were two FOY Rough-winged Swallows. Also FOY at LHG was a single
flyover Turkey Vulture at Larsen Lake. All in all, it was pretty birdy for the
mid-day hour, not a whole lot different than my usual earlier walk times,
lots of singing, especially conspicuous are the Purple Finches that seem to
be everywhere. 2.4hrs, 50 species.

P.S. Yesterday (Th 4/04) and FOY, an Olive-sided Flycatcher calling out
for three beers near Phantom Lake seemed a bit early.
