[Sswbasw] Student Ballot for School of Social Work Ombudsman 2022-2024

SSW Students,

This ballot is being sent to faculty, staff, and students and requests your vote for the position of School of Social Work OMBUDSMAN for a two-year term starting Fall 2022 through Spring 2024.

The faculty member serving as the SSW Ombudsman serves the students, staff, and faculty of the SSW community as a source of information and mediator of conflicts where concerns or complaints of unfair treatment or the infringement of rights and interests have arisen. The SSW Ombudsman plays a vital role in ensuring that the students, staff, and faculty at the school have an avenue to both formal and informal options for complaint resolution, as well as information about the University and SSW rules, regulations, and procedures relevant to specific concerns or complaints raised. More generally, the Ombudsman's position enables the students, staff, and faculty of the SSW to resolve conflicts informally where appropriate, feasible, and desired by the parties involved.
