We have received a request from Emma Atkinson on behalf of Washington State Envirothon, who hosts annual competitions across Washington State in which teams of high school students compete in solving environmental and natural resources challenges. Emma is looking for a guest speaker who could <b>give a presentation on climate change to high school students</b> who prepare for the competition. She would like for the speaker to give a general introduction to climate science (the mechanisms of climate change and the different ways that we can measure and model it) and, if possible, it would also be great to discuss the effects of climate change in the Pacific Northwest.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>This is a great opportunity for you to engage with our broader community and practice your science communication skills.
