topic
is "Public Trust in Science and Why it Matters". You are invited to join
your UW Honors community for a dynamic conversation among Honors faculty
whose scholarship and teaching engage different areas of the natural
sciences. Guided by questions from first-year students in Interdisciplinary
Honors, our student moderator, Clara McAdams, will help us all explore what
happens when scientific research and scholarship are misunderstood,
mistrusted or misused.
The event is free and open to all but registration is required.
