Pre-Doctoral Instructor (PDI) for Spring 2025:*



*Course*: ESRM 331 – Landscape Plant Recognition

*Dates*: March 16th, 2025 to June 15th, 2025

*Compensation*: 60% FTE, paid at Candidate Rank | Monthly compensation is
$3,949 ($11,847 total over Spring Quarter) | Must be in good academic
standing.

*Priority Deadline to Apply*: February 27th, 2025 @ 5:00PM. Applications
will remain open until the position is filled.



*COURSE DESCRIPTION:*


*ESRM 331 Landscape Plant Recognition (3) NSc*Field recognition of
important groups of woody landscape plants, emphasizing diversity at the
genus and family levels. Cultivated plant nomenclature. Plant descriptive
characters evident in the field with eye and hand lens. Hardiness and
landscape applications. Offered jointly with BIOL 331.
