Hello PCC Community,

Priya Donti <https://priyadonti.com/> is visiting UW for a few days at the
end of the month as the PCC nominated Walker Ames public lecturer (talk at
Seattle Town Hall <https://townhallseattle.org/event/priya-donti/> at 6:30
pm on Monday Oct 28). Professor Donti is from MIT, and a co-founder and
Chair of Climate Change AI <https://www.climatechange.ai/>, a global
nonprofit initiative to catalyze impactful work at the intersection of
climate change and machine learning.

The PCC was one of the nominating units and part of organizing her visit.
There are opportunities to meet with her on Monday morning, Tuesday and
Wednesday of the week of Oct. 28. *If you would like to meet with Priya, or
would like to suggest she join one of your classes, please reach out to me
by responding to this email. *We'll be filling the schedule over the next
week--this invitation is going out to those in several other sponsoring
colleges (Engineering, Computing, Evans, and College of the Environment) so
your timely response is suggested.
