Hello College of the Environment Community,

On behalf of the College of the Environment Strategic Plan Implementation Committee, we invite you to RSVP for any of the following workshops that will precede the College’s Spring Celebration<https://environment.uw.edu/news/2024/05/spring-celebration-honors-2023-24-uw-environment-award-winners/> on Wednesday May 29th. A description of each workshop, as well as their intended audience, are as follows:

* The Job Hunt (Advanced Graduate students and Postdocs)
* Time: 2-3pm Wed May 29th
* Join us for a 1-hour Q&A led by recent job search chairs about the ins and outs of the application and interview process. The workshop will focus primarily on jobs in academia for the PhD market.
* Location: Fisheries Sciences Building (you will get a confirmation email the day before the event)
* Affinity Groups Space (Undergraduate and Graduate Students)
* Time: 2-3pm Wed May 29th
* Learn about existing affinity groups and how to participate. Participants will also learn about how to establish and run new affinity groups.
* Location: Fisheries Science Building (you will get a confirmation email the day before the event)
* Healthy Husky Mental Health (All Students and Postdocs)
* Time: 2:30-3:30pm Wed May 29th
* Do you want to THRIVE more? Join us to learn skills to improve and strengthen our mental health, and more effectively deal with stress and adversities that can impact our happiness and ability to thrive at UW.
* Location: Fisheries Science Building (you will get a confirmation email the day before the event)
* Staff Compliment Sandwich Luncheon (Administrative staff)
* TIME: 11:30-12:45pm Wed May 29th
* Join your fellow administrative colleagues for an informal luncheon to exchange tips and tools for successfully navigating Workday and identifying potential future UW Workday training topics. This is an opportunity to connect with colleagues and peers in an informal setting to learn from and support one another. Lunch will be served. You earned it.
* Location: Dean’s Office conference room OSB 203
