Description: With climate change putting increasing pressure on all parts of society, the demand for climate science to help inform decisions continues to increase. This course explores considerations associated with climate research moving from science to service to help meet this demand. It will cover concepts from the social sciences on moving from science to action, challenges and opportunities of engagement, and connections between local, national, and global efforts to pursue climate services.

Format:  Student-led, reading and discussion-based course with assignments focused on encouraging reflection about the weekly discussions
