The youth of Seattle climate justice orgs, including Fridays for Future and
Sunrise, are planning a climate strike/event at Cal Anderson Park,
Seattle Friday
March 25 from 1-3pm.

There will be an "Ask a Climate Scientist" opportunity for participants,
and individuals with climate expertise (including policy, mitigation,
adaptation..etc.) to share would be very welcome. The youth are asking
that volunteers be mindful of climate anxiety....

"We are asking adult volunteers to please be mindful around the messaging
and framing they use as a lot of us youth (and adults) have issues with
Climate anxiety and mental health. We want to be empowered and learn about
solutions, and though we also need to confront the reality of the
situation, we want to avoid hopeless doom and gloom. So we hope speakers
will not just focus on negatives, but also use a hopeful and empowering
lens. Please let us know if you have any questions?"
