The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at Penn State seeks a dynamic,
collaborative, and strategic leader to serve as the next *Director of the
Earth and Environmental Systems Institute* (EESI, https://eesi.psu.edu).

EESI is an internationally recognized research institute focused on
advancing fundamental earth system science and generating creative
solutions to environmental challenges with respect to energy choices, land
use, and climate change. Reporting directly to the Dean of the College, the
Director serves as the leader and principal administrative officer for the
Institute.
