The School of Environmental and Forest Sciences is searching for an
Instructor for BSE 231, Technical Communication for Process Engineers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate student in any field with
skills teaching technical writing to engineers and scientists. The
Instructor will have full responsibility for the course, including
lectures, assignments, and grading (previous course materials are
available). Topics include general communication, technical writing, oral
presentations, and engineering ethics, for modern industrially relevant
bioresource and process engineering problems; engineering background is not
The position is an ASE appointment of Pre-Doc Instructor at 50% FTE
($2,757/mo). In Winter quarter, the course will meet Tuesdays and
Thursdays from 10:00 am - 11:20 am. For questions about the course, please
