Dear Colleagues,

Oregon State University College of Earth Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences
(CEOAS) invites applications for a new position:

CEOAS Outreach Coordinator: https://jobs.oregonstate.edu/postings/84104

This position is dedicated to enhancing CEOAS science outreach to
communities across Oregon and beyond, across the breadth of research
happening within the college (https://ceoas.oregonstate.edu). This position
will specifically include supporting leadership and management efforts for
the Inspiring Girls Expedition outreach program now housed within CEOAS.

>From my perspective as director of Inspiring Girls Expeditions, the ideal

candidate for this position has a solid background in
earth/ocean/environmental science research and a strong desire to use that
background towards science education and science outreach. Experience with
leading field-science expeditions or outdoor-education programs is also
extremely valuable.

In addition to Inspiring Girls efforts, the person in this position will
get to work with science teams from across the college to share their
science and engage conversation with communities and schools around Oregon
and beyond.

While this is a dedicated science outreach position; if you are interested
but hesitant to step away from conducting your own research, please contact

Please share!
