[pccgrads] Fwd: [Environment_advisers] SEFS 508 Plant Modeling course in Autumn

The School of Environmental and Forest Sciences is offering SEFS 508,
Plant Modeling, in Autumn quarter. This 3 credit course is taught by
professor Soo-Hyung Kim and meets on Fridays from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The
course will cover plant growth and crop yield, and responses to rising
temperatures and elevated CO2. Students will review, explore, and discuss
principles and applications of mechanistic and statistical modeling in
plants. They will also build, evaluate, and apply process-based and
statistical models for studying plant ecological and physiological
processes using computer tools. Please see the attached flier.
