We are excited to announce the Climate Science on Tap: Ask a Scientist! -- an extraordinary, once-a-year event coming Monday, August 26th at Lagunitas Tap House and Beer Sanctuary.

This festival-style event will bring together 35-40 scientists, engineers, and experts from across many disciplines intersecting with climate change, all at the friendly Lagunitas Tap House in Ballard. It is a rare opportunity for attendees to be able to meet, ask questions, and share a beer with so many climate experts! Learn about the latest in climate and energy research as well as the progress being made for clean energy and innovative solutions. To add to the informative mixture, there will be a number of groups and volunteers who have been working on climate policy and strategies to talk about what they're doing and suggest options for action. Not to be missed!

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Taking Climate Action: These organizations will have volunteers at Ask a Scientist to answer questions about what their groups do, current campaigns and what activities you could help with if interested. Learn what role each plays, how they complement each other's efforts, and collaborative strategies used to combat climate change. Find something that may appeal to you and try it out!

Here are some of the groups who will have a presence at the Ask a Scientist festival. [Click on logo for more information about the particular group.]
