*Position Description: *Environmental Studies at the Program on the
Environment is an interdisciplinary program emphasizing undergraduate
education in environmental studies. ENVIR 240 introduces students to the
ecological connections between food production, human health, and planetary
sustainability. Teaches basic skills needed for food production in urban
areas and the ethics behind sustainable urban agriculture, including a
hands-on component on the UW farm. This course is open to all

The Teaching Assistant assist the instructor with all duties related to the
teaching of ENVIR 240.

*Course Schedule: *Lecture: TTh 4:30-6:20PM
Field trips: Two Weekend Field Trips
May 5 to 6 and May 19 to 20
