We hope you can join us for a guest seminar featuring Mohammad Khaleel <https://www.ornl.gov/news/khaleel-lead-ornl-s-energy-and-environmental-sciences-directorate> , associate laboratory director for energy and environmental sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory <https://www.ornl.gov/science-area/clean-energy> . The talk will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, in MolES 315.

Research at Oak Ridge National Labs

As the Associate Laboratory Director for Energy and Environmental Sciences, Dr. Khaleel oversees a rich portfolio to address key issues spanning basic to applied disciplines with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to environmental, engineering, and manufacturing dimensions of energy and climate.

Dr. Khaleel will speak about Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s (ORNL) exceptional researchers and their skills in solving some of the nation’s most compelling challenges. As the largest U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) laboratory, ORNL’s mission is to deliver scientific discoveries and technical breakthroughs that will accelerate the development and deployment of solutions in many areas such as clean energy and global security while creating economic opportunities for the nation. He will describe how ORNL creates opportunities for partnerships, scientific and educational opportunities for students and faculty at all levels.
