Help wanted reading short student essays on "My Plan for Climate Action"!!!

(forwarded messaged from Rebecca Woodgate)

A UK colleague, Karl Hansen, Exec Director of TSL
(Trust for Sustainable Living), runs an annual, international
essay competition for school kids.

This year's topic- "My Plan for Climate Action" - seemed
a great resonance with UW's PCC.

The competition attracted 1,300 essays this year,
(each 400-600 words), written by children aged from 7-17,
and he has a request out (attached + comments below) seeking
qualified essay readers.
It would be great if the PCC community would like to help.

Full details in the attached, but here's the summary:

"Call for Essay Readers (20 Dec 2016 - 20 Jan 2017)

Can you spare a few hours of your time over the next month? Your expertise
is valuable to us!

Help us to spot the young leaders of tomorrow.

The Trust for Sustainable Living is seeking the assistance of graduate and
post-graduate students and practitioners working in sustainability and
communications related fields. We are asking people to spend a few hours
over the next month to read between 25 and 200 short essays (around 400-600
words each) written by children aged 7-17 from around the world.
Essay Readers are tasked with helping TSL identify the most original,
creative and debate-worthy essays to go forward to our International Judging
Panel. Essays are marked in batches of 25 at a time, with the marks entered
online. Further marking guidelines are provided [in
the attachment]."

Please could you forward as appropriate?

Best, Rebecca
