Dear ScanlDesign Advisory Committee,
Below and attached please find a message and graphic that we would very
much appreciate your sending to your students and colleagues, to let them
know about the ScanlDesign Fellowship opportunities and information sources
(including tomorrow’s info session). Thanks so much! - Nancy

The ScanlDesign Foundation provides generous scholarships for students in
most disciplines to study in Denmark, funding students participating in
exchanges with Danish institutions during the academic year, and studying
in Denmark during summer. If you would like to find out more, there are
two information sessions at the UW Study Abroad office, Noon, Wed. Dec. 7
and Wed. Jan. 4, that will provide an overview of the exchange and funding
opportunities. You can also learn more about the exchange opportunities
and application process from the Study Abroad office located in Schmitz
Hall 459 and at: http://www.washington.edu/studyabroad/, and about the
ScanlDesign Fellowships at: http://scandesign.be.uw.edu/
fellowship-program/fellowship-faq/

In addition to receiving scholarships that help offset tuition and travel
costs, ScanlDesign Fellows are invited to participate in fun excursions and
events led by hosts in both Denmark and Seattle, promoting cultural
exchange between our two countries. Application deadlines for both the
exchanges and scholarships (separate applications) are due Jan. 17, 2017.
