The Center for Environmental Politics is having Robert Keohane of Princeton University in its first colloquium for the new year. He is one of the most prominent scholars in the field of international politics, and he will be presenting

"The Global Politics of Climate Change"

BIO: Robert Keohane (Ph.D. Harvard University) is Professor of International Affairs, Princeton University. He is the author of After Hegemony: Cooperation and Discord in the World Political Economy (1984), for which he won the Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order, 1989. He is the author of many additional works, including Power and Governance in a Partially Globalized World (2002), Power and Interdependence (with Joseph S. Nye, Jr., 2001), Designing Social Inquiry (with Gary King and Sidney Verba, 1994), and “The Regime Complex for Climate Change” (with David G. Victor, 2010). He served as editor of the journal International Organization and as president of the International Studies Association and the American Political Science Association. He received the Johan Skytte Prize in Political Science, 2005, an award for the scholar who ‘made the most valuable contribution to Political Science’.
