Hi PCC grads,

This Winters's PCC *Grad Student Seminar** will be starting in about a
month after everyone takes a little time off (or panics prepping for AGU).
If you haven't given a GSS yet, it is time to jump in. Polishing up some
material that will define your career arc for the next 20 years? Perfect
time and place to give a talk. Got a wild idea that will revolutionize your
science, how about you take it for a spin with your friendly GSSers before
taking it to the department chair. This is also a fun chance to see what
other PCC students are up to.

The GSS will be held at *5 pm every other Wednesday in OSB 425*. Here are
the dates that are currently available:

January 14th - Available
January 28th - Available
February 11th - Available
February 25th - Available
March 11th - Available

Let me know when you want to give a talk, if you commit now you can forget
about it for a few weeks and get a happy surprise next quarter.

Best,
Greg

*The Graduate Student Seminar is an informal talk given to graduate
students by graduate students. This a great place to get feedback on an
upcoming talk or paper and try out new ideas. The talks usually run about
30 minutes in a laid back environment and are accompanied by *be*v*er*ages.
