Are you planning to graduate this coming spring, summer or autumn quarter? MATH MAJOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

MATH 318 - Advanced Linear Algebra; offered SPR 2026, but will not be offered again until WIN QTR 2027

MATH 327 - Real Analysis: required for the following students:

  *
BS option majors
  *
students who plan to take MATH 340, 408, 424, 427, 441
  *
students on F-1 visas who want to be eligible for CPT through the Math Program

MATH 381 - Discrete Mathematical Modeling: TIP! Register during period I, will fill quickly during period II.

Period I    MATH, ACMS majors only; Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores only
Period II & III   Open to all majors; all undergrad class standings

Math 407/408 - Optimization

Period I    MATH, ACMS majors only; Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores only
Period II & III    Open to all majors; all undergrad class standings

MATH 408 Planning Tip for 2027:  If you plan to take MATH 408 during the 2026-2027 academic year, students must earn a minimum grade of 2.0 in either MATH 327 or MATH 334; and a minimum grade of 2.0 in either MATH 407 or MATH 464.
