[Mathmajors] Reminder: Math Major Continuation Policy

Dear Math Majors,

We would like to take a moment and remind all our majors about the Math major Continuation Policy.  To meet the policy criteria, students must:


  1.
Take at least one Math major course per academic quarter (AUT/WIN/SPR) of enrollment, unless the major requirements have been completed or if you did not enroll at UW in a given quarter (i.e. vacation quarter).

  2.
Earn a 2.0 or higher numericgrade in all courses that can fulfill remaining Math major remaining requirements (excludes independent study, research, and seminar courses; i.e. WXML, WDRF, and internship credits).  S/NS grades violates this policy.

  3.
Must have a 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA in all Math major courses (repeated MATH courses are calculated into the cumulative GPA).
