[Mathmajors] Summer 25 Math research projects - MATH 398 5 credits

Dear Math majors,

This summer we are offering an opportunity to join 1 of 5 research projects. There is no application process; it will be first-come, first-served up to 10 students per project.

Students filling out the registration request form will be registered for summer MATH 398 (5 credits; Credit/No Credit - doesn't apply to the math major requirements). You must be available to meet at the days/times (and in-person or online as indicated by project) and meet any prerequisites.

Project A: The Teaching of Mathematics
Project B: Calculus Based Projects
Project C: Approximating Algebraic Structures
Project D: A Markov Chain Model of Social Media Polarization
Project E: Lie Algebras in Ver4+
